Well, the United Nations (UN) says that as of 2025, <strong>nearly half<\/strong> of the people on Earth \u2014 about <strong>45%<\/strong> \u2014 live in cities!  That\u2019s a huge number when you think that, in 1950, only 1 out of 5 people lived in cities. Out of these, <strong>33 are \u201cmegacities\u201d<\/strong> \u2014 that means each of them has <strong>more than 10 million people<\/strong>! These megacities are mostly in <strong>Asia<\/strong>: 19 of the 33 are on that continent. That means city planning, housing, transport, and green spaces will be <em>really important<\/em>.
